At Bespoke BikeWorks, we don't just fix bikes — we love helping people feel confident enough to fix their own. Whether you're a daily commuter, a weekend rider, or a parent who wants to teach their kids the basics, we'll come to you and make it hands-on, practical, and actually fun.
Learn to Fix Your Own Bike — We Come to You
No shop, no intimidating mechanics, no jargon. Just you, your bike, and one of our experienced mechanics at your home or wherever works best for you. Sessions are available one-on-one or in small groups, so you can learn alongside a partner, a friend, or the whole family.
$60 per hour | Available across Tacoma and Pierce County
What You'll Learn
Every lesson is built around what you actually need — there's no set curriculum, just real skills that keep you rolling. Topics we cover include:
Flat Tire Repair — Learn to change a tube or patch a tire quickly and confidently, so a flat never leaves you stranded again.
Brake Adjustment — Understand how your brakes work and how to keep them stopping you safely, whether you're riding rim brakes or hydraulic disc brakes.
Drivetrain & Gear Tuning — Skipping gears, chain slipping, or just not shifting smoothly? We'll show you how to diagnose and dial it in.
General Maintenance & Cleaning — The basics that extend your bike's life: lubing your chain, checking bolts, cleaning components, and knowing what to look for before a ride.
E-Bike Basics — E-bikes have their own quirks. We'll cover battery care, motor maintenance, and the mechanical side of keeping your e-bike in top shape.
